Welcome Presenters
Proposals are being accepted now through October 31, 2008, for the following tracks and strands. All sessions are 60 minutes in length, and you may choose from the following: Presentation Style, Hands-on Workshops using PC or MAC, Hands-on Workshop Bringing Own Equipment, (Calculators, GPS units, etc.), or Poster Session.
TRACK 1: Learning and Technology includes all aspects of technology use in the learning environment with the following strands.
- Digital Divide
- Distance Learning
- Curriculum Integration
- Games, blogs, & wiki's
- Geographic Information Systems, (GIS)
- Professional development activities for faculty and staff
TRACK 2: Current Issues, Emerging Trends and Solutions includes technology-related concerns encountered by administrators in educational systems, promising practices that utilize technology and efficient solutions.

- Leading into Tomorrow: Emerging Technology
- Social Engagement and Innovative School Reform
TRACK 3: Leadership and Accountability addresses the role of technology in school improvement including leadership training, technology infrastructure, curriculum guidelines and equity issues.

- Equity issues and policy
- Harnessing the Web for Instruction and Research
- Opportunities for technology-related industrial training
- Planning and funding technology initiatives/Grant writing
- Evaluating the effect of technology on educational systems and students
- Partnerships between colleges, school districts, communities, and businesses
- to integrate the use of the Internet in K-12 education
Track 4: Multimedia to Enhance Learning comprises innovative hardware, software, and technological strategies to enhance learning in today’s world.

*Unless otherwise noted presenters pay a reduced fee of $120.00 per session, at time of acceptance. Notifications will be sent via email by December 31, 2008.
