Call for Proposals Now Open!

July 7th, 2009

The call for proposals is now open! If you would like to submit a proposal to share your experiences and expertise, you may submit online at http://mec.asu.edu.

We invite you to be a presenter this spring on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe, Arizona, March 15 - 17, 2010, for the 30th Annual Microcomputers in Education Conference.

At MEC we strive to create a forum where educators and administrators not only think differently about technology, but also use it in practical ways in schools and classrooms. We are currently assembling our conference agenda and would like to encourage you to participate as a presenter.

More than 1,200 educators, researchers, administrators, industry professionals, and technology coordinators from K-12 and higher education attend MEC every year, to learn more about enhancing instruction through the use of technology.

Presentation and workshop proposals are now being accepted. The deadline for presentation submissions is October 31, 2009. All sessions (i.e., presentations and hands-on workshops) are sixty minutes in length.

Based upon input from past presenters and attendees, along with attention to current and emerging policies and practices, we are actively soliciting proposals that are reflective of one or more of the following program tracks:

•    Learning and Technology
•    Current Issues, Emerging Trends and Solutions
•    Leadership and Accountability
•    Multimedia to Enhance Learning

We look forward to seeing you in 2010!  Please feel free to contact the MEC team if you require more information, 480.884.1651 or email mec@asu.edu.
